Mentoring with Everybody Can!
What is Mentoring?
Mentoring supports a person’s understanding of what is happening in their world right now, along with how to make new choices and set healthy, achievable goals, from the viewpoint of someone who has travelled the road before them.
How Can everybody Can! mentor me?
Everybody Can!'s main purpose is to serve the artistic community who are over 35, as they seem to be the forgotten age group.
These are singers, directors, conductors, new parents coming back into the industry and some only developed now for them to start a career to make a space/platform where a person can learn to trust themselves again so that others might support their ongoing journey.
Everybody Can! has set up an over-35s concert series, a conception which filters into the opera company, as some will have been mentored by the company. It gives artists an opportunity to develop further their skills and discover new ones. Singers may stage manage or conduct choirs - while pianists may sing.
Everybody Can! gives artists a safe place to start again, rediscover and uncover hidden qualities that through mentorship and a community that allows them to grow and shine. These sessions are held in groups online.
Payment is £750 per person for a 3 month programme - there are scholarships, so if you have nothing to give, please do not let that stop you from coming and getting the support you need.
Please contact everybodycanmentoring @gmail.com for further information.
Donations towards these scholarships are always welcome. If you value the arts and would like to support artist mentorship, please click the button.
Good questions to ask yourself when seeking a mentor:
Who do you admire?
Who inspires you?
What qualities do they have that you would like to learn?
What do they specialise in?
What do you have to offer them?
